At Smart School Al Kawtar, we believe that lunchtime is far more than a simple break; it is a genuine moment of learning, independence, and togetherness. Our canteen has been completely redesigned with a professional self-service line and a hot-holding system to offer every student a complete, healthy, and fulfilling experience.

— Smart School Al Kawtar Philosophy

“Lunchtime is considered a learning moment, not a
break from learning.”

Canteen enrolment: simple and seamless

The school canteen is part of the daily educational routine. All students are automatically enrolled in the canteen programme. Families may choose to opt out and provide a home lunch if preferred.

note: the canteen (lunch service) and the cafeteria (The Bear Café — break-time snacks and drinks) are two separate services.

This approach removes confusion, arguments, negotiation, and daily chaos—giving families peace of mind and children a structured, healthy meal every day.

Is the canteen mandatory?

The canteen is part of the school’s daily educational routine and all students are automaticallyenrolled. However, families may choose to opt out and provide a home lunch if preferred.

Yes. Every menu follows nutritional guidelines and is designed in collaboration with parents and students. Portions are adapted to each grade level (kindergarten, primary, middle school, high school).

Who supervises the students during lunch?

Trained school staff supervise students throughout the entire lunch period, from the self-service line to the dining area and outdoor activities.

How does payment work?

We use a fully cashless system. Students pay via a connected wristband or rechargeable card. For the canteen (lunch), the monthly plan is 50 DH/day and the daily rate is 80 DH/day.
